Sakıp Sabancı Müzesi, dünya müzelerini internet ortamında gezme imkanı sunan Google Art projesine dahil oldu. Site, 17 müzeyle kullanıma açılmış, 3 Nisan'da Paris Orsay Müzesi'ndeki basın toplantısıyla dünya kamuoyuna tanıtılmıştı. Bu proje sayesinde dünyanın herhangi bir yerindeki ziyaretçiler, 30 binden fazla eseri, yüksek çözünürlükte görüntüleyebiliyor. Bu eserler arasına Sakıp Sabancı Müzesi'ndekiler de katıldı. Başlangıçta müzenin hat koleksiyonuna ait eserler görülecek. İnternet kullanıcıları, New York Metropolitan, Berlin Alte Nationalgalerie, Amsterdam Rijksmuseum, Floransa Uffizi, St. Petersburg Ermitaj, Madrid Reina Sofia, Londra Tate gibi pek çok müzeye erişebilir.

Sakıp Sabancı Museum was included in the Google Art Project which offers on opportunity to visit the world museums on the internet. The site was opened for use including 17 museum and on April 3, the site was introduced to the world at a press conference at the Orsay Museum in Paris. Anywhere in the world visitors can view more than 30 thousand pieces with high-resolution thanks to this project. The arts of Sakıp Sabancı Museum were included in these arts. Initially, collections of calligraphy of the museum are showed. Internet users have access to many museums such as New York Metropolitan, Alte Nationalgalerie in Berlin, Amsterdam Rijksmuseum, Uffizi in Florence, St. Petersburg Ermitaj, Reina Sofia in Madrid and Tate in London.
